The Downtown Repalone holiday party is John's lifelong crowning achievement. This magical event is filled with wonder. Planning takes
place all year, and decorations start going up in July. Hosted personally by John and Karen (your holiday hostess), this incredible bi-annual holiday party usually attracts a crowd of thousands. Always over capacity, overflow guests are tagged and shuttled across the street to the Heidi Haus Annex where they wait for capacity levels to lower, allowing accomodation, while still enjoying the holiday festivites via webcam.
The holiday party began for John as a way to entice guests to bring items to a potluck. One thing led to another, and the result was 8 Christmas trees, 28000 Christmas lights, 1900 feet of holiday garland, 39 lifesize outdoor blow-up decorations, 100 trivia prizes, 5 parking shuttle buses, 1 covered wagon, and 4839 items of delicious home-made buffet food brought by 2341 guests! A great time is always had by all.
Of course, the bar is open.
